Thursday 26th January 2023
Dear Parents/Guardians,
You will have seen in the media that members of two teaching unions voted in favour of strike action earlier in January. One of the unions is yet to announce any dates but the other union has announced the following dates where they will call their members out on strike: February 1st and 14th and then March 15th and 16th.
After a robust risk assessment, a decision has been made to partially close the school on Wednesday 1st February 2023.
The following classes will be closed:
2A 3B 6A 6B
Children in the other classes are expected to attend school as normal.
Further risk assessments will be carried out for the other strike dates listed above. Once these risk assessments have taken place, parents and guardians will be informed of next steps.
Kind regards,
Miss Thomas
