The staff, Governing Body, pupils and I are delighted to welcome you to our Tredegar Park Primary School Website. I hope that the following information will give you an insight into our school, our values and our vision.


Tredegar Park Primary School is a special place.  Our children are happy, motivated, enthusiastic and independent learners. They are encouraged to strive for success and to support others in achieving their goals. Staff are motivated, enthusiastic, committed and dedicated to the children and the wider school community.


We value the partnerships that we build with parents as we genuinely believe that this is vital if children are to flourish and reach their full potential. As a school, we work with a variety of different agencies to support our children in the best way possible.


Our vision is ‘to open up a world of opportunities’. This is very important on all levels as we believe that everyone across the school should be given the opportunity to reach their goals and to explore the opportunities that surround them. It is important for children to understand that life can bring many challenges but these challenges should not be feared. Children must understand that university is the right path for some but not for all. For this reason, children are encouraged to seek and follow their interests and strengths from an early age. Through developing strong links with the wider community, our children have opportunities to develop hands on skills such as carpentry along with painting and decorating.


Our motto is ‘Believe and Achieve’. This underpins everything we do at the school. No challenge is seen as too big or too small. Staff and children are encouraged to believe in themselves. Nurturing the confidence levels of our learners is an important and special task.


As the Head Teacher of Tredegar Park Primary School, I believe that our school is a happy, caring and supportive community where each child will be nurtured in order to reach their full potential.
