  • Family Homework Project

    Tue 28 Jan 2020

Linking to our St David’s Day celebrations this year, we would like all families to participate in our Family Homework Project.

The possibilities for this project are endless and we know that we have so many creative children and families in our school! So…let your imaginations run wild. As part of the Family Homework Project, we would like you to create a shoe box scene which reflects an area of our wonderful Wales. Think about the beautiful places that surround us. You may even like to visit the place for research.

Children will need to use a shoe box or something similar to recreate the scene. As we are an ECO school, we would like to encourage families to share their resources. So, if you have any spare shoe boxes, please drop them into school for another family to use. Remember…sharing is caring! J

As always, for every Family Homework Project entry, a raffle ticket will be given for the chance to win a fantastic family hamper. There will be one family hamper for Foundation Phase and one family hamper for Key Stage Two.

We look forward to seeing your wonderful scenes from across Wales on Wednesday 26th February at 9:00am.

  • Eisteddfod Homework Project: ‘Proud to Live in Wales’.

    Mon 18 Feb 2019

Our theme for our Eisteddfod Homework Project this year is ‘Proud to Live in Wales’. We would like your child to make a piece of art based on this theme to be displayed as part of our celebrations for St David’s Day. You can be as creative as your minds allow. You may want to make a picture, collage, or even a creative model of something that represents Wales. This could be an emblem of Wales, a place, landmark or a famous Welsh person. Please return all projects to school by Wednesday 6th March.

Raffle tickets will be given to all families who enter a Family Homework Project. This year, a large family hamper will be given to a winner in Foundation Phase and in Key Stage 2.

Please remember that for this project, the staff are not choosing the project which is the most pleasing to the eye as a winner. Raffle tickets will be given to all families who have spent time working creatively on their project.

We are looking forward to seeing all of your fantastic work!

    Pob lwc pawb!
